What has changed?

by Spoken Silence   Jun 1, 2008

What has the world done to you?
I knew you from way back when in the day.
When we used to run around and play.
With no care in the world, no problems to ponder.
What has changed?

What ever happened to our long talks?
The complex matters that we used to discuss.
Topics that only were interesting to us.
Nonsense that only made sense to you and I.
What has changed? I demand you answer.

But I hear no reply, I am left in the dark once again.
I do not hear your voice,
Nor do I see your caring face.
All I am left with is pure silence.
What has changed? I plead for your reply.

I try to think of what you would say,
What you would tell me if you were here.
If you were back sitting in front of me, able to talk.
But again, I hear nothing. I hear you not.
What has changed? I cry for you.

WOW THAT WAS SO GOOD..... I UNDERSTAND HOW IT FEELS TO BE SO CLOSE TO SOMEONE AND THEN HAVE THIS UNSPOKEN BARRIER BETWEEN YOU AND HOW YOU CAUGHT THAT EMOTION WAS GREAT...I GIVE YOU A 5/5....:)
