Eye Of The Storm

by David ODonnell   Jun 2, 2008

It takes no time all to see what we have done
The pictures stained the wall now all the hope is gone
And we bleed from below, to prove that were alive
But when we shed too much the mind just wants to die

So look at my torn clothes, I stole them from a man
He had more than he should and now his lesser than
But when its cold I feel for him, he has less than me
And now I start to learn in life of irony

Now which way did I come from and what path do I need
And if I stray from my life do I need to sign the creed
When all your hope is gone and mind starts to fall
You fall down on your knees and you know its time to crawl

Is there something you must say before its said and done
Do you start to lose your mind when life has just begun
And it all starts to make sense that nothing needs rhyme
So everything has gone...
