The Angel

by Mary   Jun 2, 2008

An all too familiar sound
Is heard in the distance
Something so loud
From so far
A sound of pain
Such a deep hurt
Though nothing is to gain,
Someone hurts
An ear-shattering scream
The effect of someone’s
Horrible scheme
Hurting this beauty
With a selfish crime
The pain gets worse
Each and every time
It needs to stop
As I move forward
A crash is heard
A life falls downward
Survival is only a fairytale
A beautiful flower
Stem still growing
Done an act so sour
With a face so stern
An angel was hurt
A family too
Everyone hurt
By one selfish act
The ear-shattering scream
Of a broken angel
No remaining dream
Tearing one world apart
