Another Chemistry Experiment

She stood before me describing you,
Telling me about the passion between you two.
She was jolly, and didn't know which words to use,
As I stood still picturing the both of you chemically fuse.

She told me about how softly you touch her in bed,
And how gently your lips kiss her fore-head.
She explained how jealous you get when a guy looks at her,
And how you fall asleep smelling the scent of her hair curl.

She complained that you say "I love you," very few,
But your behavior proves to her that the feeling is true.
She talked about you endless hours together on the phone,
And how you never made her spend a night alone.

Her head was in the sky, as she didn't know,
That one day you'll slip away, and to another you'll go.
She had so many dreams she wants to make true,
With each and every one of them she's with you.

The balanced chemistry between the two of you,
Reminded me when I was in your arms for a year or two.
She was unaware that I was your past's experiment,
As with every good word she said, I nodded with a compliment.

I was glad to see the young love in her eyes,
But afraid you would one day turn it into lies.
She's sweet, cute, nice, and pure,
So please don't her hurt her like you did to me, as it has no cure.
