I got Replaced

by SweeT pOisOn   Apr 24, 2008

Now we stand a few metres away,
Not having anything to say.
We stand in the dark, escaping the sun's ray,
To suddenly see the bright love become gray.

I thought the words you said were true,
Now you give me stares that make my heart blue.
You thought you would play,
And I would still come to your bed with your tray.

I heard, I know and I saw,
Every single movement you did so slow.
She stands on the side,
Looking at you wide eyed,

And you believe the shine in her eye,
And kill my every hope and make me cry.
I must admit, it's not your fault,
It's me who played and accepted your assault.

But I shall leave now,
With my head lifted up high,
And I shall never look back,
I would rather die without a snack!
