All that remains

by MorbidCupcake   Jun 5, 2008

Her voice straining to hold back the secrets
Of nights spent with her fate
And watery eyes along with trying to be brave
She wants him to save her
But she doesn't wanna ask for his help
Heavy rusted chains choking her lungs
Deep brownish pink scars for when she wasn't enough
So alone, so hollow, she cries out for his hand
For him to just be there
To tell her it'll get better someday
Though she remains faithless
About the love that haven't yet woken up
He watches from a distance
Pained expression on his face
Dying to help her, to get her out of her misery
Sick of her being treated so badly
He sees her bloodshot eyes, crimson and glistening
He hears her silent tears
That she tries her best to cover up
He feels the guilt of not being there for her
Wishing he could do anything
Anything to stop the blood that runs
Anything to make her fall out of love with dying

And into love with him
