Lullaby from a mom and dad pt.1

Lullaby from a mom and dad

There was once a couple
They had three children
All of them had beautiful gray eyes
But their parents weren’t wealthy
Their parents wanted them to have the best life possible
So they went to a hospital one raining night
There they left their children
But before they did
They sang them a lullaby

Hush my baby don’t cry, mommy is here and daddy too
The rain is here to wipe your tears, and to wash away your fears
We are going to take you to a better place, a place where you’ll be safe
A place we hope you’ll be accepted, a place better than these dirty pavements

Hush my babies don’t cry, daddy is here and mommy too
Soon the sun will shine, and it will dry off the sadness
We are going to take you to a better place, a place where you’ll be safe
Away from the demons of the night, away from the dirty pavements

Both the parents wished the best for their children
But the pain kept calling them back
It was too hard to just walk away from three beautiful babies
The parents began rethinking about what may become of their infants
They finally came to an agreement
They agreed it was all for the best
They continued their lullaby

Hush my angels don’t cry, mommy is here
All I want is for you to live happily
Hush my angels don’t cry, daddy is here
All I want is for you to succeed in this dark world

The three of you will soon return
And we’ll be here waiting
We just hope you’re accepted in whatever way you grow to
Life is here for your light of guidance

Both the parents left their babies by the hospital entrance
It was not a minute yet, a nurse seen some shadows entering the dark corners
Then she heard cries not far from her standing position
There she seen the eyes of gray in the babies innocence
She took the babies in and clothed them
There she took them in as her own

To be continued…
