How I Feel

I fell rejected
I feel so weak.
I'm not being accepted,
My future is bleak.

I know you're my friend;
You're always there for me.
But I need my life to end,
So my soul can be free.

I can tell this to only you,
I'm lonely and I'm scared.
My heart is broken; too,
It can never be repaired.

Twice, my heart was broken.
I know some will understand.
These words I'm saying should never be spoken,
I have no safe place to land.

So broken-hearted I sit,
as I wish for a dream.
In my eyes I cry with a fit,
I choke on tears, it seems.

Without someone's love I'm scattered,
I lay in the mess I made.
My fragile soul has shattered,
I am alone and I'm afraid.
