Mutination

by Ed or Ian Henderson   Jun 14, 2008

Hang your head in shame, dear creep,
And I shall watch you weep.
For you have let the nation down.
We'll plummet to the deep.

Stab me in the eyes, dear God,
As I stand upon your sod.
For scarred is your creation, now.
Yeah, you sure spared the rod.

Stand up to yourselves, Mankind,
It's justice to be blind.
I would trust in all who lead,
To be better undermined.

All we've seen is all we've read,
Our hearts support our head.
The new morality's all spit and shine,
And the Beast is always fed.

Pull your soul out from your chest,
It's really for the best.
Wave it like some desperate flag,
Hoping it will be blessed.

Hang your head in shame, dear child,
The world will drive you wild.
For what we give is an empty shell.
Butchered. Raped. Defiled.
