The Colorless River

by DragonGirl   Jun 15, 2008

Gray blends with black
a new sunset.
Down the river they flow,
colors wash up on shore
fade away
never to be seen again.
Down the numerous banks
i travel.
Stepping in what was lost,
things that cannot be replaced.
I sigh.
Inky tears stains my cheeks
where marks of blood,
still fresh from my heart,
cover the remaining skin.
Looking up at the sky,
Blacken clouds cover its faith,
Lighting lashes mother earths grounds.
Scarring the wastelands,
Setting fire to towns,
Losing hope and making fear.
Color drains from the livings hearts
Draining from the truth
the souls
the sky.
I live alone in fear for others
Heart is breaking
Form is shaping
Will crumbles...
sickness travels around the world.
infecting others,
their depressions hold.
Their faith is sealed
The world has crumbled.
