I Love You, I Hate You, What's Wrong With Me?

by Jenni Marie   Jun 17, 2008

And yet again I'm yearning for your tender touch
Simultaneously wishing to get you out of my head
Recalling all our cherished memories, whispered words
Love you more each day, can't I despise you instead?

Sometimes I'm smiling from the bittersweet memories
Whereas at other times reminiscing leaves me in tears
Can't choose, one day you love me then someone else
Never realizing I'm always yearning for you to be near

Always controlling my emotions like a puppet on a string
Unaware that I'm so close to finally emotionally breaking
Seems you're on my mind much more than you should be
Not sure how much longer I can endure this pain I'm taking

One second want you out my life the next long to be in your arms
And you're telling me about her then declaring your love for me
Trying to distance myself but I'm falling deeper every single day
Seems I love you but I hate you, and I'm tired of this misery
