Distant Dreams.

I have a dream where it's okay to
lay in your arms and it's a natural
occurrence to wrap your arms
around me as I nestle into your
waiting embrace. It's normal to show
my love for you instead of only
stating it.

A dream where I no longer get only
half of you, but every part. Where I
no longer have to share and keep
those three little words silent upon
my lips. I can't predict the future but
only wish for it.

I have a dream where wishes come true,
and I can sleep safe in your arms as you
whisper how you love me so. Where I
smile softly as I return the words, content
in the fact that you're mine
