Oceanic Perspective.

by ghosts in bloom   Jun 18, 2008

As I'm staring at the sanded horizon,
With it's pale face of yellow spotted Anticipation,
I am Retracing my steps un-taken.

If my Memory serves me in truth unwavering:
The buoyant red future is resplendently jello,
And my palms are the nervous novels to be.

Within the cursive of Sky's blotched ink,
I see What Ifs peering around rays of Idea.
Possibility holds hue blue as the backdrop of sea.

A wave, driven and tossed -- splits into Change
And Jagged edged dreams give Way to gravity.

One water-child cries,
-----------The Other smiles,
And lastly the sister agrees.

Howling gusts braid direction Back-wards,
Bringing me new optimystical Outcomes
On the sigh of this shore's bended knee.

And as I'm staring at the sanded horizon,
With it's pale face of yellow spotted Anticipation,
I am Retracing my steps un-taken.

A little fun with your beautiful 21st century Beat Poetry...Oceanic indeed...

    As
    I'm
    With
    Anticipation

    I
    Retracing

    If
    Memory
    The
    And
    Within
    Sky's
    I
    What
    Ifs

    Possibillity
    A
    Change
    And
    Jagged
    Way
    One
    The
    Other

    And
    Howling
    Back-wards
    Bringing
    Outcomes
    On

    And
    I'm

    Anticipation
    I

    Retracing

Oh this was just beautiful! You truly took me to another place with your flawless use of words. The way you effortlessly created such a wonderful scene left me breathless. I loved how different and refreshing your words were because it's always enjoyable for me to read something new from the same old same. The flow here was just perfect and everytying had it's place. The title captured my eye from all of your other poems which made me want to read this and I am glad I did.

Well done on this piece my dear.
