Thinking of You

by Jemma   Jun 22, 2008

Bliss replaced with an emptiness unexplained
How swiftly I learn to depend on you
So hard not to feel lost in it all
And yet here I sit alone in my corner
As friends dance wildly in drink's passions
And all I think of is you and where you are not
Little heart jumps each time I think you're here
Thinking you've miraculously reappeared
But I know this growing attachment
Is dawning worse each day
My own thoughts held captive
As you rampage through my mind
Beyond the drunken stupor that I do not share
I sit here in my corner
Thinking only of you
