Dancing in the rain

by Nobody   Jun 23, 2008

Rain begins to fall
softly whispering words of healing
i kick my feet sway my arms
to the musical rhythm
only god could create
wet grass fills in between my toes
i spin around doing my own little dance
the rain begins to tickle my nose
a breeze passes by
leaving me shivering with cold
but i don't care
for the rain is washing away the pain
the agony and hate
leaving nothing but happiness
filling me with peacefulness
depression disappears
sadness fades in the air
i kick, i laugh and spin some more
i jump around
I'm covered in mud
but i don't care
for everything that has gone wrong in my life
seems to be set right
rain stops and the suns light is shone
i giggle and run back inside
feeling content and peace
for nothing is better
than dancing in the rain
