A mothers grief

by greenenvy   Jun 23, 2008

She turns, she looks towards the door,
Her eyes opened wide and so forlorn,

She holds her breath and turns away,
Her body held rigid please not today,

A hand lays down upon her,
She slowly turns as she hears a murmur,

She trembles and raises her head,
As she hears that her child is dead,

She screams and crumbles to the floor,
She turns, she looks towards the door...
