Emptiness

Shards of light pierce through the very core of my mind,
I turn and hear your voice,
Tears fall down my face,

I tremble with fear and dread,
The person i once knew now dead,
In place of you an empty shell,
No love,no feeling where it once dwelled,

Anger takes over,i scare myself,
Where is the love that i once felt?,
The man that was my friend,
Who was to be with me until the end.
