Jealousy Breaks Me

I try so hard not to cry,
Let myself force out a smile.
He somehow still hurts me,
When we're separated by miles.

I feel like I can't compare,
To their two year relationship.
I wonder if every time we kissed,
He would think of her lips.

Yeah, he thought it was good,
But to him, still not the best.
I won't ever give up till I am,
I'm definitely up for the test.

They've been broken up for awhile,
Yet for some reason it twists my heart.
He must of cared for this girl a lot,
Was he never mine from the start?

The jealousy will consume me,
Until the day he is yet again mine.
Our love could destroy the world,
These things just take time.

    Kayla, dear, it's a wonderfully written piece. the flow is smooth, the word usage is pretty......buttttttt.....you have to be careful about jealousy. it can quickly turn to anger or hatred, as i know from experience..*mutters*. i know you're smarter than that..I love you. ^.^ 5/5
