Stained Glass Eyes

by TRAGiC BEAUTY   Jun 26, 2008

She was never the prettiest girl there
And she was always pushed to the side
She had friends, but nothing real
And she hid all her feelings inside

Her parents never cared about how she felt
And they didn't ask why she was sad or how she was
And even if they did ask her
She would say "Just because...."

She always looked through stained glass eyes
And solid stone made her heart
She would cry, but never show it
She tried not to fall apart

One day, the heart of stone slowly fell to pieces
And she tried not to cry, but she choked
She couldn't take the pain for one more day
And that girl's stained glass eyes finally broke
