Debris

Debris

Turbulent waters, once gently flowing,
through the rippling streams of life.
Ever feeling , yet never knowing,
Of its wake of stress and strife.

Rapids caused by the fallen debris,
From the storms of times gone bye.
too deep below to be set free,
Until a tear falls from my eye.

slowly falling, gently rolling,
increasing as they go.
suddenly a river is flowing,
Washing away the debris below.

Its like caught in a web of suffocation where
the pressure can only be released with tears..nicely penned & heartfelt.

Yes...tears can be very liberating indeed. We should all allow ourselves to grieve and truly overcome the obstacles that blocked our way to personal growth.
    Very beautiful poem, Jim!

    Take care,
