Dancing in the Rain

by Jennifer RIP Lesthat Hayden   Jun 27, 2008

It rains down hard as she lets her black dress flare
and she dances to no music without a care.
Her hair flies wildly as she splashes in every pool,
letting the water drench her, sparkling like a jewel.

All is silent except for the pitter patter
of the rain and the sound of the sky shatter.
Alone outside with no one to see
that girl outside has always been me.

Very nice and very smooth with the nice flow of your thoughts set to just the right motion. I think you captured each emotion with just the right touch to leave them on the page unharmed and waiting to be absorbed by other poets willing to appreciate your words. very nice - keep it up. peace
