Lustful decay

by Shellaine shelli   Jun 27, 2008

The darkness became my
friend in days
of loneliness and confusion.
Left in a world filled
with mindless
paranoid delusions.

The crimson tears they fell...
the burning flames from
this rotting hell...
The core of decay
is the place where
they come out to play...

Suicide is their game
you created them
and should now feel so ashamed
you turned your back
and became so neglectful...
You were the pied piper who led
them straight to hell...

In the mist of the dark
we are all the same...
living a facade
and playing this sick twisted game...
We deny it but all have the thought
you may try to hide
it but in the end
liars always get caught.

The darkness became my friend
it helped me block my feelings off
and cope with the world
for when the lights are
out...
You don't see the mascara run down
my swollen cheeks
or the scars from the
razor
I've been holding onto for
a number of weeks.

You see the delusions of the world...
the lie... which is the truth
the truth which is the lie
the darkness shows the things the world
tries so hard to hide
because when the lights go
out we are all the same...
Left alone to rot in our lustful decay...

The darkness became my friend...
It showed me the only truth
for in the dark is the
only time that I see the real
YOU
