The Science Homework

by Celeste Williams   Jul 2, 2008

My real name is the stars
That glint above the earth without a care.

My name is that girl
You point me out for no reason, trying to know me.

My name is her sister
She & I are one, yet so different.

My name is the only one that answers a question
As I crave to know if I am right.

My name is that one
The one you forget so easily, like the science homework.

My name is from a string man
Naming me after his passion.

My name like me
Dreams to be set free and fly away to beauty.

My name is me
The one that walks alone
