Dear Jesus(A Prayer)

Dear Jesus, I just have a few little prayers,
Just some things that I have to ask of you
I don't want anything big, I promise Lord.
But I am begging you to hear this through.

I have a friend who cries himself to sleep,
He really needs to see your bright light
His fathers a drunk, and beats him daily
Please help him, or he might not be alright

He's needing your blessing and your bliss
And it breaks my heart to see him like this

There's a friend at school, who fakes a smile
But I can still hear her lonely inner cries
She will not listen to what I've got to say
So Lord I pray that she'll open her eyes.

She needs your love to brighten her days,
And she needs to see the error of her ways.

There's this girl I know, she needs you too,
Cos she hears them screaming inside her head
They screech and yell until she's been broken
They will not be satisfied until she's bled

God, she needs you to chase away those voices
And she needs your hand to guide her choices

There's this boy, he's into drugs and alcohol,
And he knows he really needs your grace
He used to love you, now he's in the dark
He'll be back, he just needs to see your face

He loves you still but needs your help too.
Just reclaim him lord, he'll live for you.

Please wait Jesus, there's just a few more
My faith in you has exceeded all my doubts
I'm sorry, I know you're probably busy now
But please, you really have to hear me out

This girl I know, she really hates herself
She thinks shes fat when she is so thin
She needs your spirit, she needs your heart
She needs to know you took away all her sin.

Take her hand and give her courage she needs
She'll live your life, she'll do your deeds.

And the starving people, they need salvation
They live in those countries so very far away,
I pray for them, they need a miracle too, Lord
I pray that they'll hear of you and be okay.

They need a messenger whos willing to teach,
They need someone close that they can reach.

There's so very many, the whole world needs you,
They need to know that for them you've died.
Only through you and through your redemption,
Can they be safe from all of satan's lies.

Stretch faith to the world through each blessing
Your word is spreading and you are progressing.

There's just one more, one stupid little girl,
Who really wants to live her life for you,
She has so many problems, but in you she trusts,
She prays you'll be there to help her through.

She prays for all her friends and her family,
She really loves you a lot, I hope you can see.

Thank you Lord Jesus, for your daily blessings,
I trust you'll find ways for those who are lost,
You have shed your blood, to save us sinners,
You've paid the price that our redemption cost.

I love you Lord, with all my heart and soul,
And only with you can I be completely whole.
