I am my only problem
and my mind is my only obstacle.
Living by the world's rules
not by my own golden principle.
Fading into the black and white,
instead of standing out in color.
Looking from the outside in
by myself and never with another.
Wanting to be fully wanted
for me and no one less.
Searching for my special place,
without a final test.
Someone welcoming me into this very life
that will never be letting me go,
to show me the perfect sacrifice,
Jesus is who i want to know.
Taking it all in day by day
and learning the Word step by step.
Now i know what it's like to be loved
to have someone keeping you kept.
They are their only problems
and their minds, their only obstacles.
Living by the world's rules

Here now to help them stay out
of the black and white.
I'll be their stand-out color.
Never being out in the cold,
but always with another.
