In My Perfect Silence.

by Danica   Jul 14, 2008

Sitting among all these distractions
but finding in it my perfect silence.
I'm at a loss of words now
in front of pestering annoyance.
Everyone is around me
and still it's as no one is here.
No where are bothering noises,
but a glitch in my silence i fear.
One on one with my God
though people push and pass me by.
Leaving this world mentally and spiritually
without a care I go, ever so sly.
The only emotion on my face
is one in such phenomenal awe.
Wonderfully fearful of the Lord
all because of what I saw.
I got away from all the bad
and He showed me a world without violence.
As I sat among all these distractions
but finding in it - my perfect silence.
