That is the Plain Truth.

by Danica   Aug 13, 2008

Overthrown by inequalities,
leading lives of plain misery.
Never to know the real world,
enclosed in lives of slavery.

That is what we do not know.
It is what we have not yet learned.
We have been kept in a life of lies,
but a real life to live is what's been discerned.

Never again shall i be tricked
or forced into a life of no free will.
The real thing is what i yearn for,
a real life is what i need to fulfill.

And still i wait for a hero
to come and set us all free.
One to stand by and stand up
for ones who live so feebly.

All we need is to know what's real.
We must make the future for our youth.
All we really need is Christ in our lives,
that is the plain truth.
