Never whats expected

She slipped on that little black dress, the one she wore on their first date.
She grabbed her broken black umbrella that she threw when he left.
She slipped on her black Vans that she always wore just for him.
She stepped out the door into the rainy black landscape where he dropped her off nightly.
She walked to the blackened road where they first met.
She looked up into the drippy black sky they stared at together on their first date,
She screamed the poem he gave to her in black and white.
She grabbed a piece from that broken black umbrella.
She slid up the sleeve to her little black dress.
She watched the blood fall onto her black Vans.
She slowly stepped away from that blackened road.
She walked up the doorstep turning away from the rainy black nature she’s used to.
She grabbed that framed black and white poem off the wall.
She screamed you no longer save me; you break me!
She whispered but I forgive you!

Wow! this was so sad, yet beautiful also. it was heartfelt, and very powerful to me. you just said what was on your mind and got your message across nicely. job well done. 5/5.
