Light Amongst The Dusk.

by Spoken Silence   Jul 18, 2008

This is the only light that shines,
It shines through a mist in the window.
So clearly seen creating marks on the floor.

Hours pass and the glow floats,
Onto a new horizon,
Causing a new day for another.

The light shines no more,
As I stare at its once silhouette on the floor.
Darkness shines now,
But the moon tries to be my guide.

Seeping its dim glare on to the earth.
With the stars help, this can only create beauty.
Beauty amongst the dusk.

Do I dare move?
I say not for as I stand here.
I see true beauty,
And this is where it lies, in the stars.

To spend eternity here, is my true gift.
To lay here in solitude with my mind, and my pen.
