Nature

by nora gallagher   Jul 19, 2008

How lovely is the silence made
by golden fields, sunflower swayed
and the comfy nodding bed
of grasses green and roses red.
With cushion none and blanket nay
nor harsh fears of passing day.
Just to lay with scarce a modern feeling,

no wall, no door, no light-bulb on my starlit ceiling.
