It started out, I was happy.
Then things started to change.
I was wondering what we would do,
Because then I knew it wasn't just you and me.
I went out, and a boy caught my eye.
I knew in that moment,
That he wasn't the same as the other guys.
From that time,
He was on my mind day and night,
I knew absolutely nothing about him,
But he always met my line of sight.
I knew someone that thought they knew him,
So they introduced us,
And we became friends.
I knew since the very first night,
That I wanted to be more,
But he was already taken,
Until the time she walked right out his door.
A short time after that,
We got together,
It turned out that he liked me,
And now we're together forever.
It's amazing how it started out so small,
And grew to be so big, and so tall.
We have our fights,
Our lies, and our tears,
But we fight to make it right,
And in the end it's all clear.
There are times I question your love,
But life's a journey,
And we both stumble along.
Life will take its path,
And I guess,
We'll have to wait and see...
