Ignorant Drinks Of Bliss

by BornAgainWriter   Jul 24, 2008

I ache to break open the base of your Sun
Stand under its heat, and drench my mouth with its glow
Simply for complex reasons of my own,
I figured maybe if my lips held the breaking of a day
You'd be satisfied to begin with me

I breathe 1
Deeply 2
For your moon.

I an addict of Evening,
Covet each shadow roped around your palms, midriff and thighs,
And If I smoked I'd stuff each one into the pockets of my throat
And suck
The scent of your skin from each delicate figure...
But these are imitations and soon will not be enough...

So speak over my trembling voice,
Pour your next second down the small of my back
I'm greedy...jealous...destructive and addict...

Clenching the muscles of my iris
Stroking the idea of the tips of my lashes licking the curves of your cheeks

And tightly grinning at your unavailability
Platonically speaking to possibility
Forever burning the whisper that
You were made For Me....
