Joy

I thank God for your life,
you came in and took away my strife.
You make me happy when I am so sad,
it doesn’t matter just how bad.
I could lose everything dear to me,
but seeing you would give me glee.
I love staying as long as I can with you,
you have made my life anew.
Seeing you makes my faith strong,
I know that not everything is wrong.
Jesus made you, so I know something is right,
when I’m with you I can reach a new height.
I think of you all the time of day,
I’d go through any pain any price to pay.
If it would get me to you,
there isn’t anything I wouldn’t do.
When I think of you my troubles disappear,
I shed a joyful tear.
And I want you to know,
that I don’t want you to ever go.
