This is good but it deffiantly repeats alot and it doesn't really show your emotion of how much you loved him. it just says you do but just sayin "i loved him" cant really explain the pain you felt when he did leave you.

I honestly wasn't wowed by this poem. By all means, its is better than most, but not so great as to win the poetry contest.

Perhaps the simplicity and the amount of pure cliche got the ones who voted high on this... lack of imagery, emotion, and honestly as original as a hallmark card. =/ I'm harsh, ya, but in contrast to the other two this poem was... painful.

I will read your other poems to see if you have something there... but this is just... meh.
