Birthday

Birthday

You only celebrate it once,
The day you were born.
That one day a year,
I always happen to scorn.

I don't feel joy, I don't feel happiness.
Just feel the everyday madness,
The word "birthday" to me,
Only draws sadness.

So many forget,
So many do not care.
Why should I about,
The day of the unfair.

"Happy birthday" they say,
As if half of of them really know.
The hell you go through on that day,
To make sure the birthday is unknown.

Birthday.

You only celebrate it once,
The day you were born.
That one day a year,
I always happen to scorn.
