Singin' In The Rain (603) [[CONTEST]]

Singin' In The Rain

Singin' in the rain,
Dancing as if insane,
Pretending there is no hurt
For I understood your words.

Singin' in the downpour,
Crawling over floorboards,
Falling over concrete truths,
Attempting innocence and youth.

Singin' in the streets,
Muddy puddles at my feet,
The reflection of a horrible girl,
Maybe the truths will unfurl...

Looking past the murky water,
Maybe it's only the words we thought of...
Maybe the truths will unfurl,
That, maybe, you really are my world...

Singin' in the downpour,
Always crawling across the floor,
Tripping over hidden facts;
It's only strength and love we lack...

Singin' in the rain,
Dying from the pain,
Walking, numb, over concrete,
Where, once, we would dance,
In the streets...

~Like a lost memory~
