Sometimes Its Better That Way (Contest)

Sometimes It's Better That Way.
(Future Life)

A little boy stands in front of class,
Reads his report about the past.
Says the events which took place,
Rocket ships launching up to the sky.
Wars ongoing with the death toll so high.

A little girl stands in front of the class,
Reports the events of the present.
Reports on the technology,
As well as the fame.
Its the media we have to blame.

Another child steps in front of the class,
Dreams his report about the future,
Flying cars and teleporation,
No more wars or mutilation.
There is no fame, nor is there pain.
A perfect world where which we live,
Side by side we don't take we give.

But that is just a dream by a little boy,
Leave it to him to make his way.
He may change the future,
And create the past.
But for right now we'll leave it to his present,
Before he starts off his new world.
Because sometimes,
Its better off to wait for good things,
Its just better off that way.
