Felt my heart.

I opened my eyes.

I was searching.
Trying. (For what?)
I didn't know.
But I ran. (Faster!)
My mind raced.
Searched. (Still trying)
What was I looking for?
In the darkness. (Black)
While it rained.
(but only on the inside)
And then... (Stop)
I stopped.
It hit. (Hard)
Remember. (I closed my eyes)
I was searching for anything. (For everything)
And my heart. (Remember?)
Held out my hands. (Grasping for life)
You were already gone.
(Empty.)
