Swept Away

by Wolf Haines   Aug 8, 2008

I am but a fallen leaf in the wind.
No one will look twice to watch me travel yonder.
I swirl around you in the street.
You still don't look, or stop to wonder.
I am of no value to you.
There was once a time when I stood high on a tree,
Now I just float around
All be it, lazily.
