Him

by Evelyn   Aug 8, 2008

He'll haunt you in your sleep.
Hide beneath your bed.
He'll never leave you,
Not till you're dead.

He's there,
In your house.
Scurrying in the shadows,
Creeping like a mouse.

He's that noise,
Ringing in you ears.
Keeping you silent,
Making it harder to hide tears.

He's in the corner of your eye,
Can't you see Him there!
Too late, He's gone.
But where?

You know who He is.
He's there in your mind.
How long will He stay,
That's up to you to find.
