You Can't Stop Time

by Crippled Wing   Aug 11, 2008

You can't stop time
And you can't put all of your feelings in a rhyme
Once I thought I could keep things from changing
But when fate hits...
You can't fix anything by rearranging
The pain hits you when you least expect it
After that you just want to quit
The blood running down your arm
Is the only thing you know is real
And your heart's so cold it feels like steel

You see your past fly away
And you wish you could have it back
But you never will because confidence is what you lack
You still sit in the dark
You still feel the pain
The only thing different is
that you won't say anything
tears will drip from your eyes
as your spirit slowly dies
the red stains will get bigger
but this time you won't allow anyone to save you
so your illness will get worse like a deadly flu
