Sad Poem ((referencing you))

by StandStill   Aug 12, 2008

Confession: I don't feel well.
This sickness is in my head.
Once again, I've screwed up;
and a thousand words now go unsaid.

So desperate for a smile,
I'm looking all around.
The quiet's creeping in...
quiet's not the safest sound.

Oh, where went my chaos?
Tomorrow is going to be such hell..
A thousand faces in a crowd;
racing the late bell.

Why does it seem to get a little harder
with each and every passing day?
The clocks just seem so damn fast,
as the night fades into grey.

And I know I'm being dramatic,
I tend to overreact.
Maybe you're all right and I'm annoying,
maybe that's just the sad fact.

I guess I'm not worth the conversation..
Confession: I feel alone.
'Kinda sucks when I'm sitting here,
writing crappy poems.

Sorry for screwing up again,
black boxes loom e'er near.
Just another sad poem,
sad poem with references, my dear...
