Secret footprints

The reason why god left footprints in the sand,
Was for you to follow; let him lead your way.
Follow your dreams, and take them by the hand,
Because if you set your mind, they'll come true one day,

The reason why friends leave footprints in your heart,
Was because they are always there for you,
Helping when everything got tough, and when everything fell apart,
And you could never love them enough, because the love grew,

There are clues everywhere you go,
Hidden secrets of the past,
Some things you'll never know,
And memories that'll forever last,

So take some time to appreciate the beauty around you,
Take some time to look around and smile,
You never know, you might find something new,
Because no matter what, no matter the pain; life's worthwhile.

    I immensely enjoyed this poem. In every single stanza, there was so much inspiration and deep meaning.

    "There are clues everywhere you go,

    Some things you'll never know,
    And memories that'll forever last,"

    ^Wonderful word choice, and your words were so true and heartfelt.
    I really liked your ending line, very touching. You certainly have a talent for writing, and you made me smile with this poem-Keep them coming! Keep writing, always and forever....
