Silent Night

by Cee   Aug 16, 2008

As the white snow laid upon the road
We talked about our dreams
As we walked to the car
The snow settled in your hair
Making me realize how much i loved you
The soft snow glistening in the moonlight
Our perfect night

As we drove back into town
I looked into your eyes
Concentrating on the road
You turned up the heater
And smiled to yourself
Our perfect night

We went round the corner in my street
But the tires began to slip
You slammed on the brakes
Turned the wheel hard
Our not so perfect night

We spun and hit a tree
Darkness slowly closed in
I heard you call my name
Your voice got further away
Our not so perfect night

Our perfect night gone forever
My life with you is over
This is how it is now
My silent night
