Just Me And Him

by Cee   Aug 16, 2008

As the sun sets slowly over the hills
The breeze blows through his hair
His perfect skin and glistening eyes
Making everything so right

It's just me and him
Alone on the grass
He whispers softly
Telling me he loves me

I wish that I could touch him
Look into his glistening eyes
But instead I'm all alone now
Alone without him

I long to touch his gentle skin
To kiss those tender lips
But we both know I never can again
Because I'm 6 feet under

All because one stupid mistake
That took me away from him forever
His tear-filled eyes and pale white face
Tells me what he feels

We both feared that fateful day
Scared of the setting sun
We knew something was going to happen
But we didn't know it would end that fatal way

We're not together anymore
How Iwish we were
To look into his eyes once more
And kiss his gentle hair
He told me we would be together forever
How could he have been so wrong?
