Missing You

by Ally   Jun 4, 2004

As I sit
Upon the floor
In an empty pit
By the door
Missing you
Feeling the same
As you do
In so much pain
It hurts so much
My eyes fill with tears
I hurt to the touch
I look into the mirrors
Just to see your smiling face
Then I remember I have to come back
I put away the case
And throw away the sack
I sit back down on the floor
Feeling as you do
Watching the door
Missing you

(This poem is about my mother who I dearly loved and lost January 27th, 2004)
