I know now that Sorry is just a word
and in my case one I have worn out

I understand that Actions are what are
needed to remove the slightest bit of doubt

I regret that I didn't appreciate you
every minute of every day that I could

I can't fix the past but please know that
if it were possible I'd show you I would

I was sick so please don't abandon the vows
we swore to each other so many years ago

I can promise that the rest of our years
together will be the best part of the show

I am a better man as a result of everything
that has happened over what now seems years

I dread the thought of never spending the
holidays again with you, oh here come the tears

Please dear don't give up on me without
one last chance to prove my worth
