Don't Fall In Line

by Herb Jones   Aug 24, 2008

For every moments past.
We gaze upon our lives.
And see our future just before our grasp.
In the light of the sun.
We try our best to make this work.
And pray that were loved before we're done.
I know you'll be here.
Without questioning intentions.
Distance matters not, I'll always be near.
The rain goes away.
The rain never stays.
Drain me again.
Until I am dead.
Dry my soul.
Burning like coal.
I'm home again.
Now we can begin.
So many tears.
So little time.
After all of this.
You're still not mine.
I promised the world.
You promised me nothing.
I can see your faults.
I can see you're bluffing.
Can't wait for our fates to intertwine.
Just promise me this.
Don't ever Fall In Line.
