Past

by Shellaine shelli   Aug 26, 2008

Mommy's heart was broken
when daddy walked out the door
I was three years old,
he was not coming back anymore.

daddy always drank
and didnt understand
mommy was sick and
needed his hand.

She was treated so badly
she became so ill
shes all I ever had...

At the age of 12
I stuck my finger down my throat
this turned into a 6 year addiction
that has destroyed my life.

I guess its bad luck
that every guy I date
is like my father lying, cheating, deceiving

Hes a good man i guess
deep down in his heart
but why must I suffer like I did in the past.

This is truly beautiful, although it seems to be more sad. All the emotions just seem to pour out of this poem. Truly Amazing!
