Sicko

by Jennifer RIP Lesthat Hayden   Aug 26, 2008

As a friend and teacher, you've been there,
to show you love me, to show you care.
You make me smile, laugh, frown, and yell,
but we know in the very end, all is well.

I coax out happiness when your's begins to hide
and you are my new excellent religious guide.
You listened to my heart ache and I listened to yours.
We're drawn together though we're fighting different wars.

You've enjoyed my sick humor while your's has given you a name.
We may have different backgrounds, but parts are clearly the same.
Those...dark things we spoke about would be one of our relations
and you have educated me on those demonic complications.

So I thank you my friend, though you say there is no need,
I'd feel silly if I didn't and I'm not one for having greed.
So thank you for your pure kindness for which has shown no end.
I know you hate me thanking you, but accept my thanks my friend.
